About Princess

We cant say in rescue for sure pure breed but Princess sure seems to be to us!!! Princess is a sweet wonderful heeler mix 1 to 2 yrs old. She is a higher energy dog as are many heelers who were bred to have a job. Hence, since she is a herder we are thinking best for children who are not toddlers, as she is higher energy and on occasion heelers have been known to herd young children bc they are herding dogs!!! Maybe she would not herd young children but we do not know. Her optimal home would be plenty of exercise and mental stimulation and not another alpha female (as two alpha females we do not recommend. She loves to please and loves her humans. She does seem to have a prey drive so we recommend a home without cats and/or small critters. She will make a great companion but heelers do need exercise and mental stimulation! They are not couch potatoes! We adopt out our dogs to live in homes. Yes they can be outside some after you have them for a few months and know they know you are their forever loving home and you can tell they will not wish to escape. However, they need the love and physical and mental warmth living in a home with their humans provide. Her adoption fee is $350 which covers her spay, vaccinations appropriate for her age, flea/tick treatment, microchip, health certificate and transport fees getting her from the rescue to WA. Tall Tails Rescue does offer a 30 day trial period. You can ask us how that works. We have a lifetime commitment to our dogs/puppies and want to ensure everyone is happy!
