Tess was picked up as a stray in rural NM in the middle of December. She was absolutely terrified at the shelter and was shutting down fast. Our friends at From Forgotten to Forever helped us take a chance on this shy scared girl and sprang her at the beginning of January and put her into a foster home. She has come around within just a couple days and is running around playing with the other dogs. She has been nothing but sweet being picked up, held, vaccinated, you name it. She is simply a sweet mellow girl who seems to be potty trained and will be fully vetted prior to adoption. Tess would benefit from another confident friendly dog in the home. She's approx 1.5 y/o and 18#, Beagle/Spaniel/Hound blend with shorter legs. Tess doesn't really like being alone and will howl for you to come back, but she stops after a bit. Even though she's super sweet and friendly with everyone, we recommend no babies or toddlers for Tess and a fenced in yard. Email us for an application if interested in meeting her.
