OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hello there, I'm Henrietta and I'm being fostered with my sissy Margaret. My sisters and our Mom were saved from the cold and horrible living conditions by a nice couple that brought us into K-9 Angels. We are so grateful to them that we don't have to sleep out in the cold anymore. We've only been with our foster parents a couple days now but we are already coming out of our shell and learning what its like to be a puppy. Just call me Miss Independent and outgoing. I'm definitely the leader between the two of us. I guess it's because I'm bigger and more vocal. What can I say I'm a growing girl and need to have my voice heard. My favorite thing is food. I LOVE it and will eat the whole container if you let me!! I also love to snuggle with my sissy while everyone is gone at work but love to play and pounce on her as well. Foster Momma's lap is super comfy too I've discovered and so I love to get all the snuggling in that I can with her and my sister on the couch too. I am still a puppy you know so I'm just starting to learn about not going potty in the house but I think I'm a smart girl and will get it down in no time! Better get your apps in on me now because with my precious face I won't last long on finding my forever home! Henrietta is still too young to go to the Adoption Center until she's had her 2nd shot, but we are accepting applications now. If approve a meet and greet can be arranged! Henrietta is a Female Cattle Dog / Pit Bull Mix that we estimate to be around 10 weeks old (as of 1/2/18) and currently weighs 14 lbs. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
