Hey there Houston, Miles here! Foster mamma says I have to tell you a little about myself so here we go. The first thing you need to know is that I am VERY sweet! I live for a good cuddle and love to be pet. The second thing you should know is that I have been a perfect house guest. I don't chew on anything I'm not supposed to and I go into my crate during the day. I sometimes will talk back about being in there but settle down quickly. The final thing you should know about me is that I have excellent leash skills. I won't pull you all over and walk at a leisurely pace just enjoying all of the smells! I am so ready to meet my forever family. You see I was adopted over 2 years ago but that family decided they couldn't keep me so I here I am again. I don't understand why because I was a good boy! I know though that it's just a matter of time before my real family will scoop me up! You are definitely going to want to get your applications in quickly because with my stunning good looks and great manners it won't be long! Miles is a Male Flat-Coated Retriever / Spaniel Mix that we estimate to be born around 11/10/2017 PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for ADULT dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
