About Saige

This cute girl is Saige. She is a 2 year old female Australian Cattledog. Saige is incredibly smart and all that you would expect in a classic Cattledog. She knows sit and down. She is working on rolling over. Saige is crate trained and house trained. Saige loves men. She is slower to warm up, but she does and then wants to cuddle. She is also great with other dogs. She is very playful and thinks her foster siblings are great fun. Saige is a fun girl. She loves to fetch. She is learning about the leash and would be a wonderful adventure pal for hikes, bike rides, and running. As for cats and horses, she is too interested in the wrong way, so no cats or horses for her. Saige is the sweetest little cuddle bug in the world. She will without a doubt bond with her person and be a very special dog. She is just what a Cattledog enthusiast is looking for: whip smart, totally loyal, and best friend material. Saige's ideal home knows Herders, is into hiking or generally being outdoors, knows how to take it slow so she can adjust to her new life, and isn't into dog parks and city life. If you work full time and can't take your dog to work with you (or if you take your dog to work but have more than a small number of co-workers), if you walk/run less than 4-5 miles at least daily, if you can't keep her busy all day, then this girl isn't the dog for you. She is definitely cute, but doesn't have an off switch. A game of fetch won't do it. She is only available to a home who can keep up with her and has prior Herding Dog experience...and that person will adore her. Saige is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is ready to meet the right adopter in SoCal. A home visit and vet reference are required.
