About Baxter

This sweet senior has been through a lot. I took him as a foster a few months ago when his family of 10 years surrendered him to a rescue because they have a baby that kept pulling his tail. Baxter finally had enough and nipped the baby. I ended up adopting him. I have grown attached to him, as he is a very sweet dog. But, I now have a new job that requires me to travel, and it's not fair to him. He does well in a calm, quiet environment. He is very loving and attentive. Also very protective of me already. Breaks my heart to let him go, but he deserves better. He loves to take walks, loves to eat, and loves to drink lots of water. He is housebroken, although there could be a period of adjustment when he goes to a new home. I pray this will be his last!
