About Winnie

Winnie mpresses me more and more every day. After several months in a cage in the shelter she remained happy and cheerful. I took her out a few times because she looked lonely and she thanked me with a happiness only her little body and intense eyes could show. She makes and holds direct eye contact so that she can let you know how much she appreciates you. It's as if she wants to have a conversation with you. Winnie is more and more perfect. She has the run of my house after only one day (crated at night), completely housebroken, walks well on leash, stays by me when loose, gets along with my alpha male (he likes her enough to initiate play already. Usually takes him several weeks to warm up). She even maintained her calm demeanor when a pack of dogs (ranging in size from lab to chihuahua) got loose at the groomer and surrounded her. After they rounded them up (she stayed perfectly calm) the groomer dremeled her dragon nails-and she didn't fight it at all. She was perfect!! I've not had her around kids but have NO doubt she will be as good with them as she is with everyone else-friendly but not pushy. Happy to be in your company. In addition to an incredible temperament she's adorable-Ewok ears, intense eyes, sturdy body and great size. She won't last long.
