Vito is 2 years old. Vito fell in a pool and was fighting for his life for nearly 25 minutes when a neighbor heard his cries and ran to rescue him. He called animal control. The volunteers came and rushed him to safety. He was shaking from the cold and his toe nails were bleeding trying to get out of the pool. The vet has cleared him and he's going to be fine but he's scared. He is very timid and gentle. His coat is soft and he is a loving dog. He is affectionate and thankful. He is a humble dog. He is friendly with kids, dogs and even cats. This poor boy will not be returned to his family as they were home when this was happening and ignored his cries. An investigation is pending. Vito is free to go to a loving safe home which he DESERVES. He is one of the best dogs we've had the honor to 'save'. He walks well on a leash, lived in a home and is trained. Animal control is packed and sadly when space runs out, dogs are killed. He will be euthanized next week. PLEASE HELP VITO. Our rescue paid for his vetting and he's got a clean bill of health. He was saved miraculously which means he has reason to be alive. Perhaps he'll save you.
