Patches is from the Visalia area. He's not been in the shelter. Australian cattle dog, with a tail. 10 months old he is neutered. Typical story for these dogs. His owners were not educated of the breed he chased livestock and cats. The previous owners didn't own the livestock where they walked, and off leash he did what his instincts told him to do. He didn't chase cats in the house but outside if it runs he chases. Very sweet young dog, and small! About 25 - 28 lbs. Great with kids. Needs an owner that knows cattle dogs or herding dogs and their energy needs and instincts. He is not complicated at all. Well behaved and obviously, great with other dogs. I doubt this little dude will be here long!
