Penelope is a beautiful Yorkie / Dachshund mix with long golden hair. She only weighs 8.5 lbs and is 7 years old. Penny is spayed, microchipped, up to date on shots, dewormed, heartworm-negative, and up to date on flea and heartworm prevention. Penny is very calm and gentle. She is very much a lap dog who loves cuddles and attention. She is great with cats and other dogs and would probably be good with children too. Penny's adoption fee is $200. She is housetrained and leash-trained. Penny comes with her collar, leash and medical records. She has a small scar on each eye but it does not require medication and she is able to see just fine. She had to have a lot of mats shaved off and her coat is thin from malnutrition. She does have very bad teeth and we are saving up for her dental cleaning and extractions. As a senior dog, Penny is very calm and quiet. She does not play at all and spends most of her time napping. Penny will be available for adoption once she has had her dental cleaning and extractions. She was found as a stray in Gallatin, TN with a severely matted coat. She should have mostly long hair once all of her hair grows back.
