Robbie just squeeked by because the shelter had him on the euth list when we learned about him. This bouncy and active older puppy is quite sweet and also deaf. Originally, Robbie prefered company with the other foster dogs and was fearful of coming inside the house. So, we guessed that he was maybe a backyard dog or a pen dog. Now he has learned that humans and their couch is good! Maybe once it was discovered that he was deaf, no one bothered to relate to him? Such a shame, because deaf dogs learn just like hearing dogs, but in a different way. We have help with teaching the deaf dog available for his adopter. Robbie has been fine with the house cats and many sizes of dogs in his foster home in Alamogordo NM. This charming fella with his striking blue eyes will make an awesome companion. He is mellow inside but playful outside, which is a perfect combination! There are rides to CO every couple of weeks from Alamogordo.
