About Dax

This is Dax! He is a Gorgeous Bi-Color, 1 yr old, Male German Shepherd that is Up To Date on Vaccines. This guy was found in a home with his deceased owner... she had been dead about a week, when she was finally discovered. Dax did not disturb the body. He will go to a working home ONLY. He will be neutered prior to placement, unless his adopter needs to keep him unaltered for a job. (In that case, he will be on a NO BREEDING contract) This boy LOVES to use his nose and has a high drive. I think he would excel in tracking, narcotics or maybe even bomb detection. This guy is not only a hard worker but very smart. He learned to pick up objects I dropped, within a few days of having him here. He will then place them in my hand. He is INCREDIBLY intelligent with a high drive, so he's A LOT OF DOG...There is SO much potential in this dog! He is higher energy, Not terribly dominant but on the pushy side due to his energy. He is good on leash (with a handler that can give a lot of information and keep his brain) Good in the car, a tad pushy with other dogs due to his energy and Not being altered.
