About Oriona

Oriona was rescued with her littermates at about seven weeks old from a college campus where she was born from a feral mom. Since then she has been socialized, but is still skittish when trying to pick her up. Once she is caught though, she can be held and will purr. So she still needs some socialization work, and therefore a cat savvy adopter. But Oriona is very sweet, likes to talk and play, and walks around very confident otherwise. She loves other kitties and is very active. A vet thought she had Bengal in her, which I hadn't thought about until I was shown a marble Bengal kitten that looked identical to her. There was a tomcat on the campus that looked part Bengal, and another litter I rescued on the same campus had a couple of kittens with Bengal looks and personality. I didn't realize Bengals can have marble markings, so it didn't occur to me that she might have Bengal in her; but it appears she probably does. So Oriona will take some work initially to help her adjust to a new home and person(s), but she'll be an entertaining friend for someone once she settles in.
