Meet Mya! Mya is a 10 year German Shepherd. She came to us as an owner surrender. We were told Mya was not adjusting to the couple's son. We were also told she was in perfect health. Well, this was not true. Mya does great with children, she was in a foster home for some time that watches children daily. Zero issues there. Mya also came to us with a horrible UTI and multiple tumors. Thankfully the tumors were benign and the UTI treated. It's sad, but her family who she lived with her entire life just simply didn't want her anymore. Their loss. Mya is good with other dogs. She has done great with children. Mya is a calm and mellow dog, but still active. She loves to go for walks and run with other dogs. She is slower but does well to keep up with the pack. She is also a homebody. She needs a home where her people are home often. Mya wears her heart on her paws. She is very loving and bonds very quickly and strongly. Mya is house and crate trained. She would do best in a home with a non-assertive, calm but active male dog. She gets scared of overly dominant dogs and is picky with female dogs. Mya deserves a home, a true home where she will be loved and cared for. Could you give Mya a true forever home? Interested in this dog/cat?
