1-1-18 - POE - Poe is a 5 year old long hair Chihuahua and weighs 7 pounds. He's a cuddler and a real love bug. He was attacked by a big dog so he is a little afraid of them but he is in a foster home with a 40 pound dog and they get along great. Due to his size and past he should be in a home without small children. Poe is house and crate trained however his first few days in foster we did use a belly band. He is neutered, micro chipped and current on his vaccinations. For an application please email Danita Schimmelpfenig/FUREVER FRIENDS at [email protected] ADOPTION FEE: 250.00 Adoption Fee will reimburse costs incurred by the foster caregiver for vaccines administered, deworming medications, flea/tick treatment, heartworm test, and spay/neuter surgery if the dog is not already. NOTE: All applications are processed in the order received, but an adoption is made to the best application received for each of our animals. All applicants must provide a veterinary reference on the adoption application. Home visits often occur prior to each adoption. Understand that the adoption fee is not for the purchase of a dog, but rather to cover the medical cost of all dogs in our care.
