About Todd

Meet Todd. He needs a forever home. I used to breed Weimaraners. And I now have 3. They are a unique dog breed that takes a special person who understands them. They are bred for hunting and are known as the graceful gray gun dog. Weimaraners are extremely intelligent, rowdy, happy dogs. They need discipline and strong leadership. This is not a breed for an inexperienced owner. Weimaraners are very territorial and have a strong need to be with people. A Weimaraner can live in an apartment if it has plenty of daily exercise. As a responsible breeder, with every puppy I sold, I let the new owners know that if they ever had to surrender their Weimaraner I would take the dog back and find it a new home. Over the years I have received 3 back from different owners. The first 2 I kept and will have them for the rest of there lives. The last one I received back very recently and would like to find him a forever home. As you can imagine this is a very emotional experience for the dog, especially a Weimaraner. They are so intelligent and emotional. Todd is a 5 year old blue Weimaraner. He absolutely loves his people and emotionally is a big baby that needs a ton of love. He is neutered, current on all vaccinations, with no health issues. He is kennel crate trained and trained to a radius type wireless fence. So if he even hears the beep he knows his boundaries. Todd is house trained and respectful. He is a big dog and preferably needs a home without small children. Just like all Weimaraners, he needs to be an integral family member and live in the house.
