About Neptune the lap cat

Well hello there! My name is Neptune, and I'm a sweet, gentle, unusually handsome Classic brown tabby with white DSH fella who was born in December 2016. Classic tabby means that I have marble-like swirls on my sides instead of mackerel stripes, and we are rather rare. My face is intriguing because of my gigantic, expressive green eyes with a black liner encircling them as well as my adorable dark mustache and nose against my white muzzle. And just look at my white bib, tummy, and boots! What a delicious package I am, if I do say so myself. But I'm not just eye candy! I love people as well as kids, and nothing pleases me more than to turn on my purr motor when I cuddle on my foster meowmy's lap. I think I sound like a perking coffeepot, which should really lower your blood pressure. I'm a laid-back, adaptable kitty who sleeps with the dog in my foster home. True confessions -- I am a bully with other cats, which is probably because of my days as an intact tom before I was rescued -- so I need to be the only cat. But bring on the humans, kids, and dogs!!! I'm living proof that even those kitties of unique coloration and great personalities can find themselves in deep trouble. I was abandoned by my family in an apartment complex and was living by the dumpster with a few other stray cats. Then one day my future foster meowmy spotted me and decided dumpster-diving was no life for a sweet, handsome dude like me! What a day of jubilation when she brought me inside and I could kiss my hardscrabble life goodbye. Not only had I been longing for brimming food and water bowls as well as a cozy bed, but also I didn't realize how wonderful it was to be snuggled up in my meowmy's lap to be petted and brushed. I like it here in my foster meowmy's home, but I realize there's a better life out there where I can get more exclusive human attention. I have so much love to reciprocate with my lifetime person, and it's a bummer having to share her love with a houseful of dogs. So I'm looking for my forever home, and I'm so easy going that I would probably fit into a lot of households with kids and dogs. So arrange to meet me today.
