About Opal

Opal is such a beautiful girl! She is approx 3-4yrs old and weighs about 85lbs so a large breed experienced owner would be best. Opal loves to play with other dogs when outside, but when inside she prefers to be the only dog so no other dogs in the home is best... and NO cats for Opal! Opal absolutely LOVES children and comes alive when the kids get home from school so she will thrive in a home that has at least a couple of children. She will lay by them, allow the to hang on her and pet her all over, and she will protect them! She is, of course, also loving and protective of the adults in the home and of her inside, home environment. She MUST have a 6ft, securely fenced, large yard in which she can romp and explore. A large, fenced piece of property would be ideal. Opal has wonderful manners and is a very quiet dog. She is fully house and crate trained and is not destructive so she can be left home alone for a reasonable amount of hours.
