We would like to introduce the comical and playful Remi! This little fella is 6 years old and 6 pounds. He arrived in our care after a kill shelter noticed some neurological issues. Remi was diagnosed with mild hydrocephalus by a neurologist after a brain MRI. This just means he needs to take compounded prilosec once a day and will have some quirky ways for his entire life. Remi is a loveable boy who enjoys chasing you through the house and snuggling at your feet all night. It takes a little while for Remi to trust so over the head pets take awhile to accomplish, but he does love his butt scratches. Remi is looking for a home without small children and a family that will love him for the way he is. This little guy has a normal life expectancy as long as he continues to be treated. Remi is crate trained, but will require a fenced yard and continued work on his house training manners. To adopt Remi, please submit an application at PomPaws.org. His $250 adoption fee ($150 for senior citizens 65+) includes core vaccines (rabies, parvo/distemper, and bordatella), heartworm/lyme test, microchip, blood work, fecal, neuter, dental cleaning, MRI, and all the love you can handle .
