About Buddy (Blacky)

Buddy (fka Blacky) is a male Bichon/poodle mix (BICHOO) who is appx 11 years old and weighs appx 18 lbs. His owners abandoned him at a high-kill shelter in south Florida and FCCR was called in to rescue him- the shelter staff fell in love with his mild demeanor and winsome personality. Buddy is both hearing and vision impaired but that does not prevent him from engaging with his foster parents and furry friends. This sweet boy is beyond loving and quite active for his age. He enjoys being the center of attention and is a cuddler. He loves going for walks and car rides, but he is equally satisfied laying by your side and watching TV or hanging out with his furry friends. Buddy is housetrained and enjoys sleeping on the 'Big Bed'- he is not terribly fond of crates.
