About Lucy

Hi I'm Lucy. I am a 7 lb. Yorkie mix. I am 3 years old. I am looking for a home with an experienced, patience dog owner. I like kids and do not bite and am as adorable as can be. (my picture is after my last haircut looking my best!) Here's my story- my current family adopted me from the shelter when I was 10 months old. I was left there urine soaked and matted hair and nervous but got quickly adopted after being microchipped and spayed and given my shots. I still go to the vet regularly for my shots as needed. I like to run so we had to get an invisible fence, which I will need a fenced in yard or invisible fence if you want me to come live with you or I may try to run away! I also have some quirky things about me. I like to constantly lick my owner if they are just sitting there even when I'm asked to stop. I have had dog training and I can sit and lay down on command, but I still sometimes forget to let you know I need to go potty outside and have accidents. For that reason, I sleep in my crate at night and if no one is home. I do like my crate and do not have accidents in there, so I would like to bring my crate and bed to my new home with me. I know that I am only allowed to chew on my doggie toys. Car rides make me a little queasy so I always get sick in my carrier unless someone is holding me and petting me so I would probably not be a good travel dog. My family loves me but my issues have made them decide to find me a new home.
