MEET GUNTHER! from Akron, Ohio! He's available through Sophia's Grace Foundation. They write~ 'He's 5-7, neutered, microchipped, is current on vaccinations, HW, flea & tick prevention, and had a dental with several extractions on 12/12. He has also been treated for a flea related skin condition. He's very sweet, timid but curious, and playful. Gunther lost his mom to a stroke and since has been through a lot of scary stuff! He was eventually surrendered to local animal control where a volunteer adopted him so he could go to SGF, a dachshund specific rescue. Gunther loves other dogs of his size. Not sure about cats. He will not be adopted to a home with small children that live there or visit often because they scare him.
