About Charley

Adoption Fee: $200
Jack Russell / Parson Russell Terrier
Age: Senior
Sex: Male

Meet Charley, an adorable, sweet, feisty 12 pound, 12+ year old male Jack Russell. This little fellow is a gentle and loving dog and deserves a warm and loving home for his golden years. This sweet boy was found as a stray in rural KY. He's got several scars on his body and has very few teeth left, so we are guessing he has not had a very easy time in life so far. We are hoping to find a home that will treasure him and love him like he deserves for his retirement years! Charley may be up there in age, but like most JRT's he still has lots of personality, spunk, and love to give! Charley loves attention and affectionate and will make a nice little lap dog for a household with a quiet lifestyle. He is being fostered with other dogs and does well with them. He does seem to be a bit hard of hearing and startles easily when he's sleeping, so he would not be an ideal match for a home with very young children. He is quiet and well behaved in the home and is crate trained and house trained. This charming fellow will bring a lot of happiness and love to one lucky home, could it be yours?! Charley's adoption donation is $200. He was recently vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. He has also just had a dental cleaning and senior blood panel done and is on heartworm and flea prevention. He is a healthy senior! Charley is eager to meet you! He is currently being fostered in Chicago and can be seen by appointment once an application has been received and approved. If interested in meeting him, please email [email protected] 'ۢ Charlie's adoption donation is $200. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip.
