Our dog Bella needs to be rehomed. She is a 3 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound. Bella has a lot of wonderful traits. She can be loving and playful. She is a great running partner. Bella has a history of guarding toys/food/territory and being snappy, irritable and unpredictable. We do not feel she is safe with kids in the home. We have changed her diet (to avoid the ear infections that make her grumpy), been to a dog trainer and give her a lot of exercise. She would be a great hunting dog, running partner or pet to the right person. Bella lives in our house with another dog. Currently, she is also used to the dog of a fellow running partner. She has not been exposed to cats. Bella is up to date with heartworm and shots. She is fixed. Is there anything you could do to help us find a place where she could shine and be a loving pet to someone? I cannot bear to think of her abused. Her time is running out in this home. We have set the date for the end of January before she will need to be put down. Please contact me at (517) 896-1195 with any information you may have as to options for Bella. Thank you!
