About Maynard

Maynard came into our care from a shelter downstate. He was taken from a cruelty case because as you can tell by the 'before' pictures, once upon a time he wasn't in the best of shape and had lost all hope. This once hairless, terrified, and unsocialized little guy had a rough start but now he's in great health and in search of his forever home! We were told he could be about 1-2 years old and possibly a Chihuahua/Dachshund mix but your guess is as good as ours. He weighs under 20 pounds and is the perfect size to be a lap dog! Maynard hasn't been with us for too long but in the time we have had him in our care he's been extremely sweet and well behaved! He is neutered, UTD on vaccinations, crate trained, and housebroken. He's great with the other dogs, not sure about cats but that can be tested, but he would like a home without young children as they do tend to make him a little nervous. He'll make a wonderful companion for someone, as he loves to be wherever you're at and bonds very quickly.
