About Lola

Lola is a 16 month old American Pitbull. Yes that is one blue eye and one brown eye. She is gorgeous. She belonged to my boyfriend and was left with me but we are unable to keep her at our new apartment. She is young and energetic and I work full time and do not have the time she needs. She has had her rabies and vaccinations with the exception of 1 more Parvo shot that is required. Lola is wonderful with people and children of all ages. She needs training on not jumping on people and children. She sits on command, shakes hands, goes to her blanket on command, and is eager to please but has a large amount of energy. She needs good training and someone who can handle a larger breed. She is approx. 50 lbs and eats 4 cups of food per day. Very well muscled and loves to play and run. She is a cattle print Pitbull Mix (Staffordshire Terrier and Labrador). She has a wonderful disposition and hasn't shown aggression with children or humans. She has been living with my daughter and I since my boyfriend and I separated and while we hoped it would work out she isn't being given enough time for exercise and play. I want to place her while she is young and still able to be trained. She takes food from your hand very delicately and is not aggressive with her food with people. She does guard her food bowl and toys when other dogs are around. She has only been socialized with male dogs in our family and enjoys playing but due to her size she needs a fur friend that can take her exuberance. Lola is 100% house-trained and crate-trained while at work. She is an extremely loving dog that needs a family that is able to train her not to jump and one that will exercise her. She is perfectly good on the leash but tends to pull some in the beginning. She is responsive to commands but needs more training. She loves to snuggle with blankets and has an amazing personality. We love her and want her to go to a home that will be good to her.
