My name is Mack, and I am a 4-year-old beagle mix who is looking for a forever crew to call my own! My foster momma tells me all the time that I am 'sweet as pie;' comparing me to such a delicious treat has to be a good thing, right? Right! I am a very handsome 25-pound fella (which makes me the perfect size to snuggle up for lots of cuddles!): I have snow white fur accented with chocolate brown spots on my body. And if I could be so humble, I must say my stunning face is definitely my best physical feature: my brown mask around my eyes perfectly highlight my huge happy smile! And you will see my smile a lot because I am the happiest beagle around! My friends from Fetching Tails saved me from Chicago Animal Care and Control, when my previous family dropped me of with my friends Demi and Pedro. Thankfully we all got saved and got to go to loving foster homes instead of sticking around the very busy city shelter. I am laid-back and am much happier to be snuggling with my foster mom while I wait for my true forever family! My favorite activity is curling up next to foster mommy on the couch while we snuggle up with a warm blanket and watch our favorite shows on tv. I get along with everyone I meet, and previously lived with kids so I would make a great family dog. I also get along with other dogs, as well! I know, I know, I am bragging quite a bit, but I also must tell you that I have excellent house manners and am a great roommate, too! I am potty and crate trained, and do just fine taking a nap in my 'doggie den' while foster mommy is at work. I also love going on strolls in the neighborhood and am great on leash. I like to do my business, sniff a little, then go back home for some more warm snuggles with the people I love! I am a smart guy, too, and know commands including sit and lay down. What can I say?
