About Mica

Mica is a handsome 11 year old boy and at only 8.5 pounds with gorgeous wild boar coloring. Mica loves to has his ears rubbed and would love a home that would give him a lot of special lap time with hugs and cuddles. He is the perfect lap dog. Mica does not have any teeth but this does not slow him down at meal time! Like most dachshunds he loves to eat! He is vocal at feeding time and loves most dog foods but they need to be softened a bit for him. Mica loves to sleep in the big bed and he would love to have a home where he could continue to have big bed privileges. He does like his own little bed on the floor with his blanket for warmth. Mica will go into his crate but he will bark for a short time before settling down. Little Mica loves to go for walks on his leash and spending special time with is person. He enjoys a car ride and would love a home where his person was able to spend lots of time with him. Mica gets along well with other dogs, but he will stand up for himself and a strong alpha dog may not be a good match as Mica's new pack mate.Mica does not like cats. Little Mica is very fearful of children and we believe he was likely abused by them. We would recommend a home with older teens or adults only. Mica is a cuddly lap dog looking for those special arms to call his own.
