About Diane

Adoption Fee: $395
Anatolian Shepherd / Lab
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Female

Diane is a 10 week old Shepherd/Lab mix. Mom is the lab mix, and dad was the Shepherd/maybe Husky mix? Diane and her 10 other brothers and sisters were living in the back yard of a home where they were not being taken care of at all. The family who lived in the house let us take mom and all babies so we could get them proper vet care, and find them safe, loving homes. It took a little while, at only 6 weeks old, for them all to warm up people since they had never been socialized before, but they are being fostered on a community farm, so they were quickly socialized and learned that other humans and animals were awesome. They now love to play with all people and kids, and all farm animals too. You can even find them hanging out with the chickens and goats sometimes :) These puppies have been through the ringer. A week after coming to us they all came down with Parvo-virus. A virus that puppies can get if they are not vaccinated or properly taken care of. It can be deadly if not caught quick or treated. Luckily we noticed right away and got all the pups to the vet. They were all treated immediately and are not 100% healthy. We are so lucky to have all 11 puppies survive, and bounce back so quickly. They are no long terms affects and they will all go on to live happy, healthy lives now. We would love for these puppies to go to homes with families who have lots of time to spend with them, can be active with them, and also love affection and attention. These pups love snuggles and kisses now and absolutely need families who are looking for just that. They also have a good amount of energy and will need regular exercise, whether that be in a back yard, dog park, or hiking in the CO mountains.
