AAE welcomed Gentry, a pretty young mare, and Foley, her little 'red' colt from the DreamCatcher Wild Horse and Burro Sanctuary in September 2017. When they arrived, young Foley seemed a bit lethargic and small for his age, but mom is small, too. Nothing significant was found during vet exam. After a few weeks at AAE, his energy level increased, and he was finally running and bucking through his paddock, like baby boys do. He and mom play well together. He has also become friends with Blue. They play like two kids on the playground. Blue is such a great babysitter. He worries and watches intensely when Foley moves to other end of the paddock and gets too far away. Foley is becoming a lovely young horse. He leads, he is good with his hooves and stands fairly quietly for the farrier. He is very social and meets you at the gate. He is up to date with vaccines, deworming, and hoof and dental care (exam). Adoption fee subject to change based on training. Please refer to website for current information.
