About Pierre

Pierre is a very special, sweet older boy. He's a senior who fell on hard times and found himself dumped, in AWFUL shape, at a high kill shelter. Nobody wanted him, nobody asked about adopting him, nobody saw that 'diamond in the ruff' until I saw his photo. It came over in an email, with a special plea, for his life, as he was going to be euthanized. You see, the shelter was just too full, they had run out of space, so little Pierre had run out of time. All this little boy needed was a chance, so I gave him one. He went right to my vet, we got him on some anti-itch and anti-fungal medication and within 3 days he was doing MUCH better! He is the most gentle, quiet, and loving little boy. He loves his baths, takes his medicine like a little gentleman and is eating well and has gained weight. Most importantly, he's got that sparkle back to his sweet eyes. He loves belly rubs, kisses, napping and lap-time and will make the best little companion to someone looking for a low key buddy. Also, he's good on a leash and LOVES walks. He is great with my other small and large dogs and is wee wee pad and house trained. He's about 10 years old and weigh about 7 lbs. He's neutered, microchipped, dewormed, current with all vaccines and on flea and heartworm prevention. He is ready to be adopted by someone who will spoil him rotten!
