Beowoof Terrier Mix? 8 weeks/7.5 lbs Beowoof's foster family calls him 'Snickers', here is what they have to say about him: Snickers is both sweet and salty; the perfect combination. He came from Tennessee with 6 other siblings a couple of weeks ago and went to a foster home with 2 of them. Snickers likes to have fun! He enthusiastically plays tug of war with other dogs and people. He has been known to grab a few non toys and try to run back to his play area...until he gets caught. However, he is learning what he can and can't chew on, along with the word 'no'. He enjoys a good romp outside and has been enjoying the snow. You can bet Snickers will find every stick in the yard! Snickers likes some cuddle time. He also is fond of being scratched under the chin and will reward you with kisses. Snickers is more laid back out of his siblings and will patiently wait to be picked up. However, if he hasn't seen you in a while, he will eagerly jump towards you! Snickers is working on potty training, and is just learning to go to the door, but still has accidents in the house. He is crate trained and will contentedly sleep in there on a blanket with his siblings. He mostly sleeps through the night, but will make a ruckus with his other siblings when it is time to go potty. You're not a family until you have Snickers! Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a 'teen' or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping.
