Just when you thought the cuteness of elf season had worn off, meet Peggy Sue! Peggy Sue is an about 1-year old Shih Tzu/ Terrier x who weighs in at a mighty #10 (maybe lighter. We all chowed pretty heavily in the last three weeks.) Peggy Sue moonlights for TSA and believes strongly that she is a watch dog. She will let you know if she hears sounds outside with a high-pitched bark guaranteed to catch your attention. Peggy Sue will also try to protect the house from cats. She has no strong prey drive, and has no desire to hurt cats, but she does love a good cat chase! When all the protecting and chasing is over, Peggy Sue would prefer to demand your attention and spend time as a lap dog and your personal pillow warmer. She loves toys, treats (little ones,) hiding in fuzzy blankets and giving kisses. She is house trained, leash trained, UTD on her shots and would be nice in a home with another dogs since she does not really like being alone. Peggy Sue would make a great buddy and currently resides at our Idaho rescue. Adoption fee is $350.00. Transport may be available to approved adopters. Contact [email protected].
