About Gus

[Read About Natural Incontinence Care] Gus is a 13 year senior boy who found himself in the county shelter. Luckily we found an amazing foster and were able to pull him and get him into a home environment as no senior deserves to be in the shelter. This poor boy is slow to trust and can be grouchy, until he knows you won't hurt him. We are unsure of what he went through in his past, but we know he needs a special angel to be patient with him and give him time to settle in. He has been completely vetted and checked out for any and all medical issues due to his age and has no health issues, he did have some dental surgery done as he had some minor issues that needed to be taken care of. Aside from his age, this boy is in excellent health. He is quick to bond once he trusts you, he just needs time and patience, he has an amazing foster who has been working with him, and we know his special family is out there somewhere. Because of Gus having 'trust' issues, we feel he would be best in a home with no other pets, where he can enjoy his days in peace. He is currently in a foster home with other small dogs, and they do get along, he can just be very 'bossy'. We are not against a home with other dogs, and will evaluate this on a case by case basis to see what best suits him and his needs. This boy just needs to find his forever home to spend the rest of his golden years being loved spoiled and pampered as he deserves.
