About Minnie

Minnie may be an older gal, but you'd never guess it from her spunky attitude! Minnie is a petit little girl (about 10 lbs) who know her mind and lets you know what she wants. She's very interested in people and appears to be something of a flirt cuddling up with her foster mom's brother the second she met him on Christmas! Minnie is definitely a lap dog and would love to have someone who wants a dog to be their best friend and share all their time with her. She is wee wee pad trained, but loves to go for walks, so is also comfortable with going outside. She gets along with the other dogs in the house, but really loves human attention. She can have a little separation anxiety when her 'person' leaves and will bark for a short while after they have left. For this reason, Minnie would not make a good apartment dog. She is not destructive and will settle down, but grumpy neighbors may not care for her vocals. The perfect adopter for Minnie would be someone that lives in a house (not an apartment or condo or townhouse) Retirees or work from home adopters are preferred as Minnie loves loves loves to be with her humans all the time.
