Joy is about 2 years old. She was rescued just before Christmas from a rural kill shelter where her time was up. Joy's fur is very soft, and the vet that gave her vaccinations thought her to be a Pointer mix. Her paperwork from the shelter states Spaniel mix. This sweetheart enjoys playing with other dogs and people. She is smart - just learning basic life skills of 'no' and 'sit' and 'fetch'. She wants nothing better than to sit by your side with her head in your lap. Potty and crate training are going well. Joy weighs about 50 pounds, is current on vaccines, is heartworm negative, microchipped, and scheduled to be spayed. She is being fostered in Portsmouth, VA. Please let us know if you would like to meet her!
