About Dixie

Meet our sweet Dixie, a purebred Red Boston Terrier. She is 2 years old and weighs 13 pounds. Dixie was an owner surrender to our rescue. Her owner made the decision not to breed her because her legs are bowed. They do not slow her down, or cause her any problems though. Dixie is learning to trust people, but is timid. This is due to her prior life and, sadly, not receiving much human interaction. She is good with other dogs, but has not been cat tested. She would not be suitable for a home with young children because of her prior life. She is working on her housebreaking skills, and is doing good. Dixie is heartworm negative, and microchipped. She's longing for a family to take her home and show her what love is and spoil her like she so deserves. Could that be you?
