Australian Cattle Dog mix
Age: Young Puppy

Meet Dancer Blue Heeler Mix Currently 8 weeks old Dancer is the cutest little pup, that is sweet as can be. She is about 8 lbs and will probably mature to a medium size about 30/40 lbs. Dancer was brought to the rescue a couple weeks ago along with her 4 other siblings, but parted ways with some of her siblings to go to her foster with her brother and sister. She is working on house training and doing really well. She will potty outside if she regularly let out, but she still does have accidents in the house. She has been sleeping in kennel at night with her brother and sister and has not had a single accident in her crate and is quiet all through the night. She loves people especially kids and is good about not jumping on them. She doesn't really chew unless it's on her toys or her foster family's big dog. Dancer gets along great with other dogs, but can be intimidated by larger dogs so needs to warm up to them, and she is good with all other animals, from horses to cats. She is a very social pup, and will stick around even in an unfenced yard. She loves to cuddle and is definitely the most loving one of all her litter mates, but can always go for a game of tug of war. This easy going pup is a great dog who would fit in with well with any family. Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 30 days of adoption. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home for several hours at a time, please consider adopting a 'teen' or adult dog. Our standard adoption fee is $295 cash or check and $300 credit card ($5 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.
