About Red

Red is a tom cat. He's very sweet and has had a rough start in life. We moved to Peoria 6 months ago and he started showing up on our door step for food. We tried to catch him but he's been very tricky to trap. Christmas morning he collapsed on our porch and we rushed him to the vet where he was treated for bite marks. He was tested for FIV and tested positive and the vet suggested euthanasia but we refused. He is currently in our spare room and we'd love to keep him but we have 8 other cats in the house. He's very docile, he loves being with his human, he loves chin and head scratched and rolls over for belly rubs. We will ensure he's healthy and looked after but we need a home as we can't put him back on the street. He's just too sweet. Every time we've seen him he's been more injured. He's a total love bug, he's never had a toy, so we've bought him a few toys, he's never had a soft bed, we made him a bed with old towels and blankets. He is litter trained as he's used the tray we put in the room for him. Please please please!! If you want a cuddle bug as an only cat this guy is the one. He's been bitten by dogs so he doesn't do well by dogs!
