About LEMONY SNICKET

Maine Coon / Siberian
Age: Kitten
Sex: Male

LEMONY is such a special little guy and his foster parents love him so much and want to see him in a home who will appreciate him and one he will shine in! They call him their 'little smush' and 'Lemon Pop' and he has a big heart full of love for everyone in his foster home, but it's now time he has a home of his very own. He's very soft, fluffy and gentle and you can cradle him like a baby. But he's soulful and sensitive and while he could adjust to most situations, he would do best in a quieter, more serene home with mellow, kind and patient people. He WILL be your best friend, if you are patient. When everyone goes to bed, LEMONY snuggles with his foster parents and when they wake up they find LEMONY'S paws around them and he gets lots of petting and affection before breakfast. He's very soft and gentle and light in his touches. LEMONY loves having his belly rubbed and will do lots of air biscuits while he's getting petted. LEMONY would do fine in any sized place - from a studio apartment to a mansion, and he's been an indoor-only cat, and doesn't crave going outside, so for his own safety and longevity, we ask that he remains an indoor-only cat. He is a very easy houseguest and is a great starter cat for someone who has never had a cat before! He has such a big heart and so much love to give that he will become your best friend in no time. LEMONY gets along great with other animals - he is very popular and has many friends - both cats and the dog. He never causes issues or fights, is never aggressive and is a very well-mannered little gentleman. He's very good about retracting his claws and having 'soft paws' when snuggling with people. Sometimes he will snuggle his head into the crook of your arm while he is being held. LEMONY grew up in a home full of music with a sometimes loud and hyper small dog and klutzy cats and kittens, so while he's used to some noise and ruckus, he probably would not do well in a home full of very young kids - if there was a lot of high pitched sounds and too much excitement, he would probably retire from the fray. He would do fine in a home with older, very respectful children, and adults. He plays a lot with the hyper dog and with the other hyper kittens and cats - so that is not an issue. He may take a few days to adjust, but he's always receptive and you can always pick him up and pet him. It just may take a few days for him to opt to come over to you. It's nothing personal - he just needs a few days to observe and gain confidence. LEMONY likes to play but is still pretty mellow - he loves to play with other animals, with going crazy on blankets and towels, with strings on a stick, lasers, puzzle games, balls, catnip mice, birds on a stick, and even games for cats on YouTube. While he likes to play, he's probably more the cat you want to snuggle with and watch tv with than a really hyper wild crazy kitten. LEMONY really loves everything that is white - white blankets, white towels, white cat beds'|anything white! LEMONY Is a pretty easy chill dude and never obnoxious or in your face. His foster parents never find his fur everywhere - he doesn't seem to shed much but is still long haired, soft and fluffy. If you want a quiet, sweet, gentle companion who is fun and will hang out with you, and has this silky, soft fur, LEMONY is your guy! LEMONY was rescued from a high kill shelter in the nick of time and is at a foster home, but is really hoping a wonderful person chooses him to be part of a loving forever family. LEMONY is housebroken, always uses the litterbox, doesn't spray, doesn't scratch up the furniture, and is well-behaved. As well as current on all shots/vaccinations, has had a rabies shot, is microchipped, is negative for FIV and FeLV and fixed. Bring some silly love into your home today!
