About Auggie

This is Auggie. Overall he is a very sweet dog, but he does not do well with other dogs. He has moderate to severe separation anxiety, fear aggression and dominance aggression. He is a stray that we took in when he was around 5 months old (guesstimate) and while he has done okay around our other dog, he does not do well with new dogs. We aren't sure if something happened to him before we found him or if he was just born different, but he is aggressive when seeing a new dog and has bit me and my husband before. We are moving into a place where there will be lots of new dogs and in a trial run he did not do well. We are hoping to rehome him to a person with a backyard and no other pets that is aware of his aggression issues. If you think you could take him, or know somone who can, please let me know. Our only other choice would be to euthanize him due to his bite history. He can run really fast, loves to play fetch, and likes to just hang out outside basking in the sun. He is very affectionate and loves to snuggle close. He burrows in his blankets and likes to give kisses and have his ears scratched.
