Sheba is 40lbs, approx 5-6 yr old, fixed, easy to walk on leash, loves her crate, playful & silly with other dogs her size or larger. She is too interested in small dogs and comes on too strong so we feel she's best with friends her size or larger. No cats. She is too interested and it's best to not put her with cats. Sheba was pulled from a local city shelter and required surgery to her throat. She was having trouble keeping food down. We don't know what caused the problem or how long she had it but she's recovered and thriving. She is still eating a soft diet, canned pate. Her foster has been crating her for bedtime and when not supervised and she loves the crate. Doesn't make a peep and sleeps through the night. She enjoys exploring the yard and sunbathing. She would be happiest with a yard or patio area to get her sniff & sun time. Sheba LOVES children & everyone on two legs. She is very romantic & flirty. She knows sit, gives paw and loves to roll to offer her belly for rubs. She is a 40lb lap dog. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization. Adoption process includes an adoption contract and home check. Adoption fee for dogs are $300 - 500 and for cats are $175. All of our animals are fixed, vaccinated, and chipped. If you are interested in adopting or have further questions, please fill out the application at LAAR.ORG under the Adoption Process page.
