About Frangelica

OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. Hi! My name is Frangelica. I could be one of the cutest puppies you meet. While I'm a natural blonde, I have a few of the cutest brown spots on my belly, and my ears are the wonderful color of Frangelica�'�|that's how I got my name. Once I got to foster momma's house I discovered she had chew toys for us!! Thank goodness because I LOVE THEM! Well, I love chewing. She says I'm smart and well, I think I am too. I know what a puppy pad is for and I hit it 99% of the time. I will try to let you know when I must go to the bathroom but sometimes my 'I have to go potty barks' are similar to my 'I'm playing really hard' barks so a puppy pad will be good to have around. As mentioned, I like to bark when I get excited and when my foster mom leaves the room. She's teaching me 'no bark' when I miss her and I'm trying to listen. I stop barking after a bit because there are just too many fun toys to play. There are two big kitties at my foster mom's house and while they are cute, I've decided to bark at them when I see them, so they walk away. I'm sure they are nice, but my barking scares them. I'm living with my brother right now and he's great (and smart too) and we like to play and play and play! I'm trying to learn it's ok to eat around other dogs since I always think my food is going to get taken but learning it won't anymore. I'm very loveable and I love it when you rub my belly and my chest then I'm putty in your hands. My foster mom gave us our own bedroom. She calls it a crate, but I call it my bedroom and when it's time to go to bed, I like it a lot! She put us on a schedule. I like to go to bed in my crate around 9:00 p.m. (I play a lot before bedtime) and a few hours later I'll let you know I'd like to go to the bathroom with a small bark. A few belly rubs later and then I'm back to my bedroom and I'll sleep through the night. It's true, I am very smart and very loveable. I'm ready for my forever home. Frangelica is a Female Terrier Mix that we estimate to be born around 10/18/2017. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready.
