OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS: We do allow out-of-state adoptions for dogs, however, the adopter MUST come to Houston to get the dog and take the dog home with them. We do not allow our dogs to be shipped. Also, our puppies can only be adopted to the immediate Houston vicinity as it takes 4 months to get them completely vetted at our vet here in Houston. We will not allow our dogs/puppies to be adopted out of the area without being spayed/neutered. We spay/neuter puppies at 4 months old. What's up? My name is Calvados and I am a ROCKSTAR! My foster mom says I'm very, very smart. I think I am too. I'm little but I can run fast and I'm working on my vertical leap every day. I live at my foster mom's house, and she's a first-time foster mom, and says I'm a good boy ALL the time. She has a lot of toys for me to chew on as it's one of my favorite things to do. I always t ry to be on my best behavior. Right now, I live with my sister Frangelica. We love to play. I have an area to play in that's big and then I have a crate to sleep in at night. When my foster mom leaves, I go to my crate to relax and refresh so when she gets home, I'm ready to play again. My foster mom knew I was loveable but didn't know just how loveable until she hung out with me for the first time. I officially have her wrapped around my finger and I can do the same with you! When she rubs my belly and my chest, I melt. I love to be picked up and I will lick your face. I'm a big fan of you sitting on the floor where I'm am so you can play with me. Honestly, how else will I be able to snuggle with you and lick your face some more. I know what a puppy potty pad is and I know how to use it. I just don't miss. I will let you know when I must go to the bathroom. I like to bark and learning right now that 'no bark' means it's not the appropriate time for me to bark. It's hard but like I said before, I'm smart. My foster mom has us on a schedule. Right now, I go to bed in my crate (that I LOVE!) around 9:00 p - 9:30 p. I'll wake up once around midnight to go to the bathroom and I'll let you know by giving you a bark. After that, I'll go back to bed and sleep through the night. My crate is in a separate room because if my foster mom is up, I want to be with her. I can't WAIT to meet you. I asked Santa for a forever home when I can be adopted. Calvados is a Male Terrier Mix that we estimate to be born around 10/18/2017. PUPPIES: Young puppies that have not had their second round of puppy shots will not be at the Adoption Center for our weekend adoption events. If you are interested in adopting a puppy, please fill out an application on our website http://www.k-9angelsrescue.org/k9_angels_rescue_adoption_process.html. If your application is approved, a meeting can be arranged. Also, we only adopt young puppies locally due to the 4 month time frame it takes to get them fully vetted and altered. SPAY/NEUTER: As we believe proper healthcare of one's pet is a requirement of good ownership K-9 Angels Rescue only adopts out dogs that have been fully vetted. If the dog being adopted is not already altered at the time of their adoption, the dog will be altered within 2 weeks of adoption at our vet at our cost, with the exception of puppies which will be altered as soon as the puppy is ready. NOTE: All dogs are officially the property of K-9 Angels Rescue until they are altered by our veterinarian. Please LIKE and share our Facebook page: www.facebook.com/k9angelsrescue.
