About Atlas

Atlas is sweet and very playful, but has a lot of special needs. He has extreme noise phobia, and is terrified of fireworks, artillery, nail guns, power tools, etc. He is on Prozac to manage his anxiety levels and phobias, but even so, he needs a family with a lot of patience and a strong desire to give him a happy home where he will feel safe & loved. He also sometimes guards his resources (food, water, toys) so a home with small children is not recommended. He needs a secure yard, and cannot live close to a Marine Corps base due to his fear of artillery. *We would request an open adoption. We love him and want the very best for him, and are very sad that we aren't able to give him what he needs to thrive.*
