About Ivory Tower (Ivy)

IVORY TOWER- 22 year-old 15hh Standardbred mare - trail/pleasure riding - for intermediate rider. Ivory Tower (Ivy) was a successful broodmare who found herself at auction in March 2010. She was adopted to a loving home for 7 years, but returned to HRU in November 2017 when her adopter's health issues prevented her from caring for her. Ivy is a sweetheart who is always looking to please. She has excellent ground manners and is suited for an intermediate rider. Ivy rides English or Western. She is an easy keeper with a past history of severe choke, so she doesn't get grain, eating mostly Timothy grass hay with some alfalfa hay added. Ivy is well-mannered and has shared a field with a variety of other horses. She currently lives out 24/7 with a shed. Available for $250 to an approved home with contract with a minimum 60 day trial period. Adopter must be located within an eight (8) hour drive of Howell, NJ OR the Lexington, Kentucky area.
