About Hobbes

Hobbes. 1 yr old male Boston terrier beagle mix. Up to date on vaccinations, neutered and microchipped. Adoption fee $225.00 He's as sweet as they come. Dumped at a shelter by a backyard breeder who couldn't sell him due to a congenital defect in his right front ankle (the bones . didn't fuse). When we got him, Hobbes was terrified of people and would just freeze; shivering when approached. He had never really been handled or known a friendly touch. He's getting more trusting of people but needs a very quiet & gentle home to gain more confidence. He absolutely MUST HAVE a confident playful dog in his new home; his whole demeanor changes when he's with other canines. He becomes animated and wags his stubby tail all the time when with his canine friends (he gets along with everyone!); and boy does he love to rough & tumble with his buddies. Hobbes has a sweet & gentle spirit that you'll notice the minute you look in his eyes. He just needs consistent Loving & patience to blossom ! We just love him!!!
