About Jasmine

I am Jasmine and I am an older dog but I provide lots of love to those around me. I am an easy dog to own. When my foster parents first brought me home I was from a breeder who crated their dogs all the time. I had to get used to living in a house with my own bed and the sounds a house makes. It took awhile, but eventually I came out of my shell. At first I would hide in the hallway, but eventually I became acclimated to house living. I still am scared of loud noises and some men make me fearful but I do warm up after awhile. I love children and have never growled or bared my teeth at anyone while in my foster parents care. I do like other dogs, I like to be introduced slowly, and if they are aggressive I will cower down or freeze. I am definitely a submissive dog. I have been living with another dog, a female pit-bull who is more dominant than me. I have learned to play with her and we have lots of fun wrestling and cuddling on the couch. I need a forever home that is calm and easy and provides me a warm bed indoors with people who love me. My favorite thing in the world is a walk. I love to sniff the world! I would be perfect for an older person or a family with older children (very young children can be overwhelming for me). I do have NKC papers that shows my blood line and I often get complimented on my soft fur and sweet disposition. My foster parents will miss me, and want to find me a home that can love me up. I have been very healthy, I eat good dog food and weigh about 75 lbs. I have been spayed and I have a dog license in Yamhill County.
