About Bea

Boxer mix
Age: Puppy
Sex: Female

SEE BEA'S VIDEO HERE TOO! Bea was a stray on the street and found her way to a construction site, where a good Samaritan took her in and contacted BARC for assistance. She is so sweet, with a very calm demeanor; she most prefers to snuggle and get lots of belly rubs. Loud noises startle her a bit, but she responds well to reassurance. Bea has apparently never been introduced to toys, so she doesn't play with them, but does enjoy a good chew bone or treat. She has fun chasing squirrels and is so happy to have a comfy bed. Bea is an 18 month old boxer-blend female, who weighs a petite 44 lbs.; she is housebroken, crate trained and walks well on a leash. She has been around other dogs successfully, but we feel she would do best being the only dog in the home, since she appears to be selective about her friends. Bea needs to be taught basic commands, and should pick them up in no time. For more information on this sweet girl, please complete our online adoption application at boxerarc.org
