About Rosita

Rosita is a 10 month old long haired chihuahua pup who came to us from the Humane Society of Yuma. Rosey found her way to the Yuma shelter in the back of an animal control truck after she was found roaming the streets. After life on the streets, Rosita is understandably a bit timid when meeting new people. Rosita is sweet and wants to love, but it takes a minute for her to learn to trust before she wants love. Rosita has some fear of kenneling, and acts like a tough girl when she is scared, but once she makes her way out she slowly starts to seek attention. Rosita will need a quiet and very patient home with no young children. Rosita seems intimidated by other dogs at first which makes her selective with which dogs she befriends. Any family dogs need to come meet Rosita before she goes home. Rosita is currently 7.5 pounds and should be no larger than 10 pounds full grown. She is spayed, up to date on vaccines, microchipped, licensed & vet checked. Her adoption fee is $260.00. To meet her, please come to our shelter location at 1102 W. Hatcher Road in Phoenix 85021 open Tuesday to Sunday from 11am to 6pm. Call for location on the weekend as we have off site adoption events that some of our dogs attend 602-944-2440.
